It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas (A Remix) by Benny Smith

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go.
People are looking frantic, and traffic is completely manic.
Traffic lights are glowing more red than green.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas,
Limited stock of toys in every store.
But the most frustrating thing to me,
Is the lack of decency.
What happened to joy and love at Christmas?

Well, here it is people, 5 days until Christmas. Not long now until that one day of the year that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. A time of peace and joy and spending time with those we love... Who can actually remember the last time Christmas was peaceful?! These days it's all about the presents and getting the most STUFF. Peace and joy are irrelevant now. Don't get me wrong I LOVE CHRISTMAS. It's the one day of the year completely dedicated to spending with those you love. You have nothing to achieve, except to polish off your Christmas dinner without loosening the notch on your belt. But why have we turned a holiday to celebrate Jesus' birthday into a commercial money-maker? I honestly can't tell you. It stumps me.

But enough about me and my profound thoughts; here is this week's Outfit of the Week. Wow, we're into week 10 already! Where has time gone? To celebrate, this week the total price of the outfit is under $40. I do love a good bargain, don't you? This outfit was also a lot of fun to shoot. Basically I spent about an hour flipping my cardigan around like a deranged matador. And yes, before you say anything, I am almost blinking here. Partial eye movement aside, this was the best photo of the lot. I politely request you reserve any comments you may have for your journal, please and thank you very much, thank you to you.
