Today was the perfect day for an adventure. The sun was out and the air was warm, so in typical Kiwi fashion I busted out the shorts and the pasty whites and went out in search of an experience. I ended up exploring the centre of Christchurch, having a nosy around the Re:Start Mall and New Regent Street.
Yes, I was on my own. No, I am not a loner. Yes, I do have friends. No, I don't want to talk about it.
The Re:Start Mall is an amazing concept, and for me perfectly summarises being thrifty. Using old shipping containers as buildings? Um, genius! The stores inside the containers, though, not so much. I don't care if those shoes are made from Aunt Bessie's favourite Heifer, I'm not paying $400 for them. But maybe that's just me.
So in the spirit of being thrifty, I bring you outfit number five.
